Will Tokyo street style ever lose its magic touch? Not likely, if the stylish locals captured around the city at Fashion Week have anything to say about it. In fact, this season’s showgoers are dressing bolder, brighter, and displaying a wider sartorial range than ever before. See global trends like man heels and PVC peep-toe boots, reinterpreted through a distinctly Japanese point of view, or the beloved Margiela Tabi boot returning to the streets of Shibuya that inspired its make, as captured by Vogue’s intrepid photographer Kira. The phrase “Nothing changes” appeared on the back of one statement jacket. When it comes to Tokyo’s singular style, that’s a really good thing.
