Shell jewellery: The most unexpected accessories trend of 2018
While trench coats, oversized hats, checked fabrics and cowboy boots were undoubtedly some of the year's biggest trends, the jewellery world was igniting (or, rather, reigniting) cult styles of its own.
Asymmetrical pearl earrings and diamanté hair slides may have been a recurring theme, it was the shell-embellished pieces that dominated the accessories landscape in 2018.
