Feline Groovy: Azalea Banks plans to turn pet cat's jaw bones into jewellery.

Azealia Banks is claiming that she plans to make earrings out of her dead cat Lucifer's jaw bones, after digging up the deceased pet in a video earlier this week and then appearing to boil its bones.

On Thursday, the rapper showed off the feline cartilage, explaining: 'After the peroxide bath, here is Lucifer's jaw,' while posing with them as earrings.

'Titanium cat jaw earcuffs with a slick arianny full lacewig pony... That's fashion,' she added.

Fans were obviously left baffled by the unusual videos and took to social media to express their disbelief.

"Azalea is not well. That's really it."

“Gosh, the poor girl is obviously dealing with a lot. Stop the hate guys,” added another.

Despite the backlash, Azealia then took to social media in an attempt to try and explain her actions.

On an Instagram story she rebuked everyone who thought she had fried feline on the mind. “Why do you think i would eat a dead cat, when I can barely eat a dead cow. It’s called taxidermy…. Plenty of hunters with preserved deer heads hanging off their wall. Darlings….. You guys are being racist and this is very un-black lives matter of you all. The cat’s head is soaking in peroxide to fully clean him, then I’m taking him to a jewelry shop to have it gilded” she said.

'Lucifer was an icon. He deserves to be preserved. You girls are not tough like me. You may indeed, kiss my witchy a**'

Banks went on to detail that other cultures and religions do far worse. “Catholics ritualistically consume the body and blood of Christ at mass... I really don’t want to hear sh*t about preserving a cat skull.” She elaborated: 'Christianity literally has human sacrifice as the central piece of its doctrine...Please shut y'all cannibal vampires asses TF up lol and go buy the pastor a new Mercedes lol'.

Banks could indeed get her cats bleached bones turned into earrings. She would have to get gold leaf that she would then have to lightly paint over the skull if she wanted to properly gild the item. Some jewellery and art stores do provide the service but it is unclear whether Azealia will get the cat skull gilded by a professional, or was planning to do it herself. Watch this space...
